Abstract: A series of molecularly imprinted polymers(MIP) were prepared in different solvents using semicarbazide as the template molecule, methacrylic acid as the functional monomer and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as the cross-linker.The effects of the composition of polymerization systems on the adsorption property of MIP were investigated and subjected to the Scatchard analysis. The results indicated that the best adsorption property between MIP and the template was obtained under the following conditions:the ratio of template to functional monomer was 1:4,and the solvent was CH3OH/CH3CN(at a ratio of 1:1,V/V),and a kind of the same binding sites which could specially bind semicarbazide by the interaction of hydrogen bonding was formed in the polymer with its dissociation constant equating to 1.44 mmol/L.
