Abstract: Molecular imprinting is a research method developed by combining polymer chemistry, molecular design, molecular recognition and bio-mimic bioengineering. Molecular imprinted polymers (MIPs) prepared by molecular imprinting technique exhibit highly selective recognition properties. Steroids are one of the most important bioactive molecules, which play a crucial role in the process of metabolism in body.In this article, an overview of the application and the progress of molecular imprinting technique in steroid recognition and analysis is described.
