Abstract: Molecular imprinting technology (MIT) developed rapidly in several decades. The main applications of MIT included separation processes, immunoassays, antibody mimics, biosensors, catalysis and artificial enzymes. However, currently relatively little attention has been paid to hydrogels. This article seeks to introduce a new intelligent imprinted hydrogel which memorize their binding conformation and can be switched on and off by external stimuli which modify their swelling behavior. Intelligent-imprinted hydrogels chiefly attach biomacromolecules, such as protein, peptide, nucleic acid, glucose, therefore they have art enormous potential in drug deliver system and biosensors, etc.
