Abstract: Molecular imprinting technology (MIT) is the technology of preparing polymers with specific recognition ability to some molecules. Combining MIT with sensing technology provides a possible way to make up the shortages of sensitive elements based on biomaterial and breaks a new path for sensing. In this paper, the research and evolvement of molecular imprinted polymers (MIPs) as recognition elements of electrochemical bio-mimic sensor are summarized. Current difficulties and prospects are involved.
