Abstract: Using acrylamide as functional monomer, divinylbenzene as cross-linker and tetrachloro-methane as solvent, the aniline molecularly imprinted polymers were synthesized by the method of emulsion polymerization. The removal effect of trace aniline from water was investigated. The results show that the aniline molecularly imprinted polymers have better appetency and adsorption capacity for aniline. The adsorption quantity increases rapidly with time prolonging at first and then tardily, it increases with aniline initial concentration increasing, and is saturated at last. The Langmuir adsorption model can represent the adsorption type of the aniline molecularly imprinted polymers, and its adsorption manner is single molecular adsorption.
