Abstract: Magnetic imprinting polymer microspheres (MIPs) were prepared via multiple emulsions suspension polymerization, using Fe_3O_4, chlorogenic acid, methacrylic acid (MAA) and trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TRIM) as magnetic component, template molecule, functional monomer and cross-linker, respectively. The shape and size, composition and magnetic susceptibility were characterized. Static equilibrium adsorption study showed that MIPs had a better specific absorption property for CGA. Scatchard analysis further showed that two different adsorption sites existed in MIPs.
