Abstract: The Molecularly Imprinted Polymer has been prepared with Quizalofop-p-ethyl, a plant growth regulator, as the template, the fixture of methacrylic acid as the functional monomer and ethylene dimethacrylate(EGDMA) as the crosslinker. The study of imprinted polymer was conducted by use of UV and infrared spectrum. The study on binding different substrates indicated that the MIP possessed excellent selectivity toward the template comparing with other analogs. Scatchard analysis showed that two kinds of recognition sites were formed, and their dissociation constants Kd were approximately Kd1 = 8 x 10-5 mol/L and Kd2 = 1.34 x 10-3 mol/L. The result of this study proved that the molecularly imprinted polymer has great development and application values for Quizalofop-p-ethyl.
