Abstract: A molecular imprinted polymer gel (MIP) was synthesized using bovine serum albumin(BSA) as the template molecule. A MIP membrane electrode was prepared with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) as the supporting membrane. The results indicated that the sensor exhibited good potential response to BSA, and the potential of BSA was linear over the logarithm of concentration in the range of 0.1~1.0 mg/mL. The sensor had no response for lysozyme (Lys) and the smaller response of bovine hemoglobin (BHB) compared with the same concentration of BSA. The MIP membrane electrode can be applied to the determination of BSA.
