Abstract: Using acrylamide as a functional monomer, puerarin as a template, maleic rosin acrylic acid glycol ester as the cross linking agent, molecularly imprinted polymer membrane is synthesized in solution by cyclic voltammetry. The sensor shows high selectivity and good sensitivity towards the target puerarin and it gives a linear correlation to puerarin concentration over a range from 6.0 x 10-8 to 1.6 x 10-3 mol/L with the detection limit of 2.0 x 10-8 mol/L. The sensor has been applied to the analysis of puerarin in puerarin injection and papaya-pueraria root tablet samples with recoveries ranging from 97.7% to 106.4%.
