Abstract: A novel molecularly imprinted electrochemical sensor for trichlorphon determination was developed based on chitosan electrodeposition and the performances of the sensor were studied by cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry. Cationic probe Ru(NH3)63+/2+ was employed to indirectly indicate the interaction between the template molecules and the imprinted films. A sensitive response was obtained with detection limit of 1.0 x 10-7 mol/L and an excellent recognition for the anionised trichlorphon was achieved owing to the good memory capacity of the sensor
