Abstract: Objective To study the process of synthesizing the seed microspheres and its perfoemance. Methods The emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization was adopted with the octanol and the few emulsoid OS as dispersive reagent. Results The influenced factors included particle size, capability, and its distribution of the seeds of molecularly imprinted polymeric microspheres. Conclusion These seeds were approvingly synthesized when w (octanol)= 3.0%, w(EA):w(ST) =1.000:0.229,[Theta]=85 °C,pH=8.0 .
