Abstract: Molecularly imprinting technology, an emerging technique for preparing synthetic polymers with molecular recognition, is developing rapidly. In the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine, it attracts much attention for molecularly imprinted polymers' specific identification function. In this review, the principle, characteristics and application of molecular imprinting technology on modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine are summarized, and the preparing methods of molecularly imprinted polymers are introduced
