Abstract: Hollow porous molecularly imprinted polymer (HPMIP) nanospheres were successfully synthesized by an in situ polymerization technique using mesoporous silica as a sacrificial support, and were used for the recognition of bisphenol A (BPA). The HPMIPs thus obtained exhibit a faster adsorption rate and a higher affinity compared with other BPA molecularly imprinted polymers
