Abstract: In this paper, using pyrogallic acid as the template, acrylic acid as the functional monomer, and methanol as the solvent, the molecularly imprinted polymers were prepared for the pyrogallic acid separation and enrichment to remove the pyrogallic acid in the industrial sewage. The combination ratio of template molecule and functional monomer was studied. The results show that the pyrogallic acid combined with acrylic acid can be obtained by hydrogen bonding with 1:1 of the combination ratio. The molecularly imprinted polymer microspheres of pyrogallic acid are prepared by precipitation polymerization. The static adsorption experiment indicates that when the molar ratio of template molecule, functional monomer and crosslinker is 1:4:20, the molecularly imprinted polymer with high adsorption quantity and high selectivity could be prepared. By constant temperature shaking, the adsorption characteristics of polymer are analyzed by adsorption equilibrium and Scatchard. The results show that there are two kinds of adsorption sites in the polymer. Their maximum apparent adsorption amounts are 7.5516 μg/mg and 11.9225 μg/mg,and the balance dissociation constants are 9.2720 x 10-3 mmol/L and 0.1892 mmol/L, respectively.
