Abstract: The molecularly imprinted polymers (MIP) based on the surface-modified silica has been synthesized with Gatifloxacin as template molecule, methacrylic acid as functional monomer, ethylene dimethacrylate as crossiinker. The alkylated silica gel and MIP were characterized by FT-IR and SEM, respectively. The adsorption properties were investigated with static adsorption, Scatchard model analysis, Langmiur and Freundlich models. The adsorption behavior of MIP was evaluated by its selective adsorption and reproduction quality. The results showed that there are two types of binding sites on the surface of MIP and its adsorption process was a multi-molecular layer adsorption. Selective adsorption test indicated that the as-prepared MIP exhibited good specific selectivity and excellent reproducibility
