Abstract: The ion imprinted polymers were synthesized by using Pb2+ as the template, acrylic acid as a functional monomer and EGDMA as a cross-linker. The resultant imprinted polymers were characterized by infrared spectrometry. The adsorption property and selectivity of imprinted polymer were studied by static equilibrium adsorption method. The results showed that the imprinted polymers had better adsorption and selectivity to Pb2+ compared with non-imprinted polymers. The method was applied to the enrichment of Pb2+ in complex environment with satisfactory results.
