Abstract: Due to the advantages such as simple preparation method, stable structure, excellent recognization property, rapid adsorption ability and large adsorption capacity, the ion imprinted polymers are widely used in ion separation, enrichment and sensing identification areas etc. The principle, preparation methods, adsorption properties and application of ion imprinting technology are reviewed. The development prospects of ion imprinted polymer are proposed as well
