Abstract: Molecularly imprinted polymers for aminotriazole (AMI) were synthesized with aminotriazole as template molecule, methacrylic acids as functional monomer, and EDMA as crosslinker in isobutanol solution by molecular imprinting technique. The binding affinity and recognition of the imprinted polymers to aminotriazole were evaluated by equilibrium adsorption experiments. Moreover, the adsorption selectivity experiments and the adsorption kinetics were observed, respectively. The results showed that two classes of binding sites were formed in AMI-MIP, and AMI-MIP exhibited higher affinity and recognition to aminotriazole. Pseudo-second order equation was fitted for adsorption of AMI on AMI-MIP
