Abstract: A novel core-shell nanoring amino-functionalized magnetic molecularly imprinted polymer (CS-NR-Mag-MIP) was synthesized by ultrasound-assisted suspension polymerization. CS-NR-Mag-MIP nanoparticles showed higher adsorption capacity, more specific selectivity, and faster binding ability than core-shell nanosphere amino-functionalized magnetic molecularly imprinted polymer (CS-NS-Mag-MIP) nanoparticles prepared by conventional mechanical agitation (CMA). The results indicate that CS-NR-Mag-MIP nanoparticles have promising potential for BPA enrichment and removal during water treatment operations
