Patent Title: Separating enantiomers by molecular imprinting
Publication date: 1996
Publication number: WO 98/07671

Abstract: The present invention is directed to the separation of optically active compounds into their respective enantiomers. The separation uses imprinted polymers having a desired structure and molecular memory for the corresponding print molecules. The invention is particularly concerned with the separation of ibuprofen, naproxen, and ketoprofen. Associated processes and materials such as certain polymers are also within the scope of the present invention.
