Inventors: Minoura N
Patent Title: Material capable of selectively adsorbing and desorbing protein and its production
Publication date: 2000
Publication number: JP2000202285
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a protein adsorbing and desorbing material capable of molecular recognition of only a specified protein, capable of accurately adsorbing the specified protein from a mixture of various proteins and capable of desorbing it.
SOLUTION: A protein is mixed and brought in contact with a monomer having a functional group that interacts with the protein, interaction is carried out and the monomer that does not take part in the interaction is almost thoroughly removed. A monomer not having a functional group that interacts with the protein and porous inorganic fine particles are then added and the monomer is polymerized to form a composite polymer. This composite polymer is comminuted and the protein is removed from the resulting fine particles to produce the objective material capable of adsorbing and desorbing a specified protein having a molecular template.
