Patent Title: Agent for selective adsorption and removal of chemical substance
Publication date: 2004
Publication number: JP2004115748
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selective adsorption and removal agent produced by using amylose as a matrix and applicable even to a chemical substance having a hydroxy group.
SOLUTION: The selective adsorption and removal agent for a chemical substance is composed of a template polymer produced by forming a clathrate complex using the chemical substance to be adsorbed and removed as a template molecule and an amylose having introduced vinyl group and then polymerizing the amylose in the presence of a crosslinking agent and separating and removing the template molecule and the unreacted substance from the produced polymer. The template polymer is useful especially for capturing a harmful endocrine disruption substance-like chemical substance.
