Patent Title: Functional material for discriminating DNA molecule
Publication date: 2004
Publication number: JP2004_150943
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel DNA discriminating functional material capable of easily and inexpensively detecting and preparing fractionally a double-strand DNA having a desired base sequence and a shape, without requiring a complicated operation/process, an expensive separation device and an expensive measuring instrument.
SOLUTION: This DNA molecule discriminating functional material comprises a polymer having a DNA molecule-shaped template. The DNA molecule-shaped template has a vacancy of the size capable of capturing the prescribed shape of the double-strand DNA, and a functional substance for recognizing the specified base sequence is provided on a surface of the hole.
