Patent Title: Heat-responsible polymer gel having protein molecule- identifying function
Publication date: 2003
Publication number: JP2003_321492
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-responsible polymer gel which can adsorb and extract a fractionation-targeted protein only by the control of temperature and can effectively separate, purify and recover the fractionation-targeted protein, without needing a post-treatment operation such as the removal of an additive, for example, a pH-adjusting agent, a salt, or a reaction inhibitor, or the removal of impurities contained in the additive, and to provide a method for separating, purifying and recovering the desired protein with the gel.
SOLUTION: This heat-responsible polymer gel having a protein molecule- identifying function, comprising the heat-responsible polymer gel formed on a support, is characterized in that a polymer containing a protein molecule shape-like template is incorporated in the heat-responsible polymer gel.
