Patent Title: Molecularly imprinted cellulose and its manufacturing method
Publication date: 2005
Publication number: JP2005232205
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molecularly imprinted polymer which improves moldability, is usable as a template molecule for various compounds, and whose production cost is low, and its manufacturing method.
SOLUTION: A molecularly imprinted cellulose is formed by molecularly imprinting a template molecule bondable to cellulose by a hydrogen bond, an electrostatic bond, a hydrophobic bond, a van der Waals bond or the like on the cellulose or a cellulose derivative. Preferred cellulose is a cellulose ester such as cellulose acetate, and a preferred template molecule is nicotine or the like.
