Patent Title: Method and apparatus for chemical processes using molecular imprints
Publication date: 2008
Publication number: WO/2007/109096
Abstract: An apparatus and method for chemical processes using molecular imprints includes a vessel having an interior surface formed with a plurality of molecular imprints, which may be of the same molecule or of different molecules and a sensor having imprints of a molecule formed on an active surface. A sample fluid is introduced into the vessel and the analyte molecules are adsorbed onto the imprinted surface and the sensor. The sensor indicates that analyte has been adsorbed. The imprinted surface may be used to separate the analyte and, optionally, to hold the analyte molecules for a reaction with components introduced to the vessel.
