Patent Title: Device for measuring volatile chemical substances
Publication date: 2009
Publication number: WO/2009/046900
Abstract: The invention proposes a device for measuring volatile chemical substances (VOCs) using the enrichment and desorption process, with a thermal desorption unit, which comprises adsorption material and is connected to gas channels for introducing gas to be investigated and for passing on desorbed molecules of the volatile chemical substances, and with a sensor unit for measuring the desorbed molecules of the substances to be measured. The gas channels are formed in a compact body (1) of solid material as various sub-channels (6 to 14), which can be connected by means of at least one valve (3, 4, 5), and the thermal desorption unit (2) and the sensor unit (30) are arranged and/or fastened on the body (1) in connection with respective sub-channels (6, 8, 9).
