Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for the production of affinity binding agents having affine or highly affine binding structures for non-covalent interaction shapes, comprising the following steps: a) contacting a target substance having at least one ligand capable of a non-covalent bond to the target substance for a period of time that is sufficient for the at least one ligand to accumulate at the target regions of the target substance and form a ligand-target substance complex; b) embedding the complex into a component providing a structure and fixing the same via a bond of the ligand(s) of the complex to the component providing a structure; c) removing the target substance such that a structure results that has a defined spatial arrangement of the ligand(s), which has the capacity to rebind the respective target substance in a specific manner. The invention further relates to affinity binding agents having affine or highly affine binding structures for non-covalent interaction shapes obtained using the above method and comprising a component providing a structure and at least one ligand integrated into the component providing a structure, wherein the component providing a structure holds the at least one ligand in a certain spatial arrangement that enables the specific binding of the ligand(s) to the target substance.
