Patent Title: Method for detecting micro-fluid molecular imprinting polymer chip using surface plasmon resonance and the chip thereof
Publication date: 2006
Publication number: TW249768
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for detecting micro-fluid molecular imprinting polymer chip using surface plasmon resonance (SPR) technology, and the chip thereof. The method includes the following steps: preparing a micro-fluid molecular imprinting chip, the chip having an interconnected micro-channel and a biochemical reaction zone, the biochemical reaction zone having a metal coating layer configured with a prism, a light source for emitting a light beam, and a light receiver; and, using a driving device to make a detected object flow from the micro-channel through the biochemical reaction zone. Because the photons of the light beam will oscillate and excite the free electrons on the surface of the metal coating layer to generate coherent resonance effect, the penetration distance of the surface plasmon energy is about a half distance of the wavelength, so as to detect the situation in the biochemical reaction zone.
