Patent Title: Reversible self-assembly of imbebbed metallomacrocycles within a macromolecular superstructure
Publication date: 2012
Publication number: US8148438
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a method for preparing a reversible, self-assembly of an imbedded hexameric metallomacrocycle within a macromolecular superstructure. The method occurs by an intramolecular mechanism in which a macromolecular skeleton possesses multiple ligands capable of reversible assembly-disassembly triggered by the presence of metal ions.
