Patent Title: Selective separation of heavy metal ion using metal ion imprinted polymer
Publication date: 2007
Publication number: CN101024675
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a metal ion imprinted polymer, wherein the ion imprinted polymer can be produced without using such a high priced solvent as a conventional fluorocarbon solution and also an ion imprinted polymer separating a heavy metal ion by reacting a metal salt with a monomer, because suspension or emulsion polymerization can be conducted in water using a monomer containing a metal ion in its chemical structure. This method for producing an ion imprinted polymer separating a heavy metal selectively comprises a step of producing a monomer containing a metal ion group by reacting a metal salt with a monomer, a step of mixing a monomer containing a metal ion group, a cross-linking agent and an initiator in a solvent, a step of obtaining an ion imprinted polymer containing a metal ion by suspension or emulsion polymerization of the resulting mixture and a step of removing an imprinted molecule from the above ion imprinted polymer.
