Abstract: The invention relates to a method for extracting holothurin from a sea cucumber processing waste fluid. The method solves the technical problems that recovery rate or product purity is relatively low because an existing holothurin extraction and separation method is poor in selectivity. The method comprises the following steps: (1) after adjusting the pH value of the sea cucumber processing waste fluid to be alkaline, centrifuging, and collecting supernate; (2) separating the supernate in the step (1) by using a chromatographic column filled with molecularly imprinted polymers, firstly washing with water, then washing with an ethanol solution, and collecting eluent; (3) concentrating the eluent in the step (2) through pressure reduction into paste, after dissolving the paste with deionized water, centrifuging, carrying out spray drying on the supernate, and thus obtaining holothurin powder. The method can be widely used for the treatment of the sea cucumber processing waste fluid.
