Abstract: Sensing methods are sought to overcome the disadvantages - poor sensitivity and selectivity, poor long-term stability, and undeployable. Sensor of these teachings for detecting and recognizing target molecules includes a layer of molecularly imprinted polymer disposed on a single layer graphene sheet. In some instances, the sensor of these teachings also includes a sensing circuit configured to detect and report impedance changes in a layer of molecularly imprinted polymer disposed on a single layer grapheme sheet, the impedance changes caused by the binding of the target molecules to the molecularly imprinted polymer.
