The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing grafted particles PMAA/SiO2; (2) preparing the S-ibuprofen surface imprinted material MIP-PMAA/SiO2. According to the preparation method, the compound functional particles PMAA/SiO2 having carboxyl groups on the surfaces are prepared by using a grafting method and adopting a surface-initiated polymerization system to graft and polymerize methacrylic acid onto the surface of micron-sized silica gel; then, imprinting is carried out under the proper conditions, so that the MIP-PMAA/SiO2 of the imprinted material S-IPF which has specificity for dexibuprofen molecules is prepared; therefore, the effective resolution of a racemate of the ibuprofen is realized, a new method is provided for realizing chiral resolution, and a new method is also provided for the separation of medicine ibuprofen.
